Tefi Designs is a one-woman handmade cottage industry based in Dallas TX. I
specialize in jewelry, accessories, and art made with quality materials and craftsmanship.

Along with designing, creating, and managing Tefi Designs, I founded and co-lead Etsy Dallas, the original Dallas craft collective since 2007. Each year I co-organize two of Dallas' premiere handmade shopping events: the Spring Bash in and the Jingle Bash, along with Handmade Bash Inc. partner Pamela Dowdy and a group of fellow volunteers.

Professionally, I work in marketing for Corner Bakery Cafe. Yummy. I'm committed to serving animals by donating a portion of profits to animal rescue groups. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, I received my BA in English and Italian in 1998 and Bilingual Educator Certification in 2002. I am a published freelance writer and community activist. If you want to buy me a drink, I love a good greyhound.

I live and work in the
tight-knit artsy Dallas community of Oak Cliff. I am an advisor for La Reunion, a local artist residency program in Oak Cliff and am an active member of the North Cliff Conservation District neighborhood association, and volunteer for the Jefferson Median Beautification Project.

On January 17, 2009 I became mother to Ian Alejandro, my darling boy wonder. He's pretty much the most awesome person I've ever met.
